Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information AFRA DIGITAL collects when you visit www.afra-digital.com or contact us, why we collect it, and the choices you have.

1. Who we are

AFRA DIGITAL is a digital agency based in Doha, Qatar, providing web, app, AI, software, design and marketing services to businesses worldwide. In this policy, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to AFRA DIGITAL.

2. Information we collect

We also record which page or button on the website you used to reach the form (for example “pricing” or the website-development page), and we give each enquiry a reference number that is shown to you and included in our email, so we can find your enquiry quickly. Budget, timeline and contact preference are used only to prepare our reply; they are never sent to analytics tools.

Please do not include sensitive personal information (for example, health, financial or identity-document details) in your message. We do not need it to respond to a business enquiry.

To protect the form from spam, the website also checks two technical signals that are not stored: a hidden field that people do not fill in, and how long the form took to complete.

Information you share when you contact us directly

If you contact us by WhatsApp, phone, email or Instagram, we receive the details and messages you choose to share. These services are operated by third parties under their own privacy policies.

Technical information

Like most websites, our hosting provider processes standard technical information, such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested, to deliver the website and protect it against abuse. When you submit the contact form, your IP address is used temporarily to limit repeated submissions. It is not included in the enquiry we receive.

Our pages load the Inter typeface from Google Fonts, so your browser connects to Google’s servers, which receive your IP address.

3. How we use your information

To reply to your enquiry and discuss your project
To prepare proposals and, if you become a client, to deliver and manage our services
To keep the website secure and protect it from spam and misuse
Only if you agree: to measure how the website is used and how fast it loads, so we can improve it (see section 6)
To meet legal, tax or accounting obligations that apply to us

We do not sell your personal information. We will not add you to a marketing mailing list without your permission.

4. Service providers we use

We use a small number of trusted providers to run the website and handle enquiries:

Vercel hosts the website and processes contact-form submissions.
Resend is the email delivery service used to forward contact-form enquiries to our inbox.
Google hosts our business email inbox (Gmail) and provides the website fonts (Google Fonts).
WhatsApp (Meta) and Instagram (Meta) are used only if you choose to contact us through them.
Google Analytics (Google) and Vercel Speed Insights (Vercel) are used only if you accept analytics in our privacy choices banner (see section 6).

These providers may process information on servers outside Qatar. We only share what is needed for them to provide their service.

5. How long we keep information

We keep enquiries only for as long as needed to respond to you, to manage any business relationship that follows, and to meet legal or accounting obligations. You can ask us to delete your enquiry at any time (see section 8).

6. Cookies, analytics and your choices

We only use analytics if you accept it. When you first visit, a “Your privacy choices” banner lists the analytics tools that are currently active and offers equal Accept and Reject buttons. Nothing is loaded from these tools before you choose, and nothing is loaded if you reject.

You can change or withdraw your choice at any time with “Cookie settings” at the bottom of every page. If you withdraw, the tools stop and Google Analytics cookies are deleted from your browser.

Tools used only after you accept

Google Analytics 4 (when active): measures visits, the pages and sections people use, the general source of a visit (for example a campaign link’s “utm” tags) and interactions such as clicking our WhatsApp, phone or email links, starting the contact form or successfully sending an enquiry. It sets the cookies _ga and _ga_<ID> (lasting up to 2 years) to recognise a returning browser. We switch off Google signals and advertising personalisation, and Google Analytics event data is kept for 14 months.
Vercel Speed Insights (when active): measures how quickly pages load and respond (for example loading time and layout stability). It does not set cookies.

We never send your name, email address, phone number, company or message to these tools. Page addresses are shortened before they are measured so that only the page and any campaign tags are included.

What we store on your device

afra_consent_v1 (your browser’s local storage): remembers your privacy choice for up to 12 months so we don’t ask on every page. This is necessary for the choice to work and is not used for tracking.
Google Analytics cookies, only if you accept (see above).

Your browser may also cache files such as images and stylesheets so pages load faster. You can clear cookies, local storage and cache at any time in your browser settings.

7. How we protect information

The website is served over an encrypted connection (HTTPS). Contact-form submissions are checked and processed on the server, delivered by email, and accessible only to the people who handle enquiries at AFRA DIGITAL. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.

8. Your choices and requests

You can ask us to:

tell you what personal information we hold about you;
correct information that is inaccurate;
delete your information; or
stop contacting you.

To make a request, email afradigital.hello@gmail.com. We may need to confirm your identity before acting on a request. Depending on where you live, you may also have other rights under applicable data-protection laws.

9. Children

Our website and services are intended for businesses and are not directed at children.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time, for example if we change how the website works. The “Last updated” date above shows when it was last changed.
